Supervision & Consultation Services
I am Brittany Spencer, LCPC, CST, and board-approved supervisor for licensed graduate counselors in the state of Maryland, working to obtain their required 100 clinical supervision hours. I offer individual and group clinical supervision services. Supervision is available both in-person and via telehealth. I am dedicated to providing supervision that improves clinical and administrative development of counselors in training.
My role as your supervisor is to collaborate, share, reflect, and provide feedback to help increase ethical competence and confidence to best serve clients over several sessions. Similar to my therapeutic style with clients, I bring curiosity to each session. I encourage your voice to be the loudest in the room. I look forward to celebrating your wins and moments of growth along your journey.
My Specialties
I work with adult individuals and couples 18+ that identify as members of the LGBTQIA+ community, Black mental health support, sex therapy, nontraditional nonmonogamous support, relational therapy, family of origin trauma, high-demand job stress, infidelity, desire discrepancies, interracial relationship support, and family transition (expecting/adjusting parents).
I enjoy being invited along my clients’ journey and relationships. Supporting my clients has afforded me the opportunity to be trained in Stan Tatkin’s Psychobiological Approach to Couples Therapy (PACT) (Level 1), Gottman Method, and sex therapy, obtained through the Sexual Health Certificate program at The University of Michigan.

Consultations & Training
I truly believe in the phrase, “It takes a village.” Supporting clients is a multifaceted job we are all a part of. I provide professional case consultation, sexual health education, and sex therapy trainings to other professionals (therapists, social workers, psychiatrists, educators, and organizations) to help promote collaboration across multiple fields; build educational awareness; and improve the overall well-being of the clients we’re connected with. In-person and telehealth options are offered for all training and consultations.
